Teresa Rose Whisenhunt, born November 30, 1965, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Sammy and Donna Whisenhunt, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 59.

Teresa grew up in Seminole, Oklahoma, and was a proud graduate of Varnum Schools. Her life was filled with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the small joys of life. She was passionate about her cats, reading mystery novels, watching murder mystery shows, and most of all, spending time with her friends and family.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Sammy Whisenhunt, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

She is survived by her loving mother, Donna Whisenhunt; her sister, Jody Adams; her devoted children, Kayleigh Whisenhunt and Ryan Whisenhunt; and her cherished cats, Dixie and Merlin. Teresa was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and aunt to three nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, including her beloved feline companion, Cat.

Teresa's warmth, humor, and caring nature left an indelible mark on everyone she met. She was a loyal friend, a dedicated mother, and a woman who treasured her time with loved ones.
