Tommy Ray Morton entered this life on April 3, 1941 to John and Jane Morton in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Tommy entered into rest on March 19, 2019 in Wellston, Oklahoma at the age of 77. Tommy Ray Morton proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was also on the board of directors for the Lincoln County Volunteer Fire Departments. He was a member of the McLoud Methodist Church, and enjoyed spending time at the McLoud Senior Center. Tommy was a big family man and made it his priority to spend as much time with his grandkids and great grandkids. Tommy also enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and camping. Everyone that knew Tommy knew he had a big heart and was willing and loved to help anyone and everyone. Tommy could never sit still he always had to have a project going. He built two houses for his family from the ground up. He was a very talented carpenter. Preceding Tommy Ray Morton in death are his parents John and Jane Morton. Two sisters and one brother. Left to mourn his passing is his beloved wife Joyce Morton, four children, Lorena and husband Robby Easley of McLoud, Oklahoma, Tommie and husband Jim Wilson of Prosper, Texas, Daniel and wife Darla of Wellston, Oklahoma, and Carissa Morton of Wellston, Oklahoma. Eleven grandchildren, Zech, Sandi, Heather, Samantha, Misty, Megan, Mary, Amber, Amanda, Maranda, and Hailey. Two great grandchildren, Stiles and Logan. Along with a host of other family and friends. Services for Tommy Ray Morton will be held Friday, March 22, 2019 at 2:00pm at the First United Methodist Church in McLoud, Oklahoma. Visitation from Tommy will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the First United Methodist Church in McLoud, Oklahoma.
