Valeta Dawn Duncan, born on July 13, 1955, in Sumner, Oklahoma to Clarence and Lois Myers. Valeta entered into eternal rest on December 31, 2023, in McLoud, Oklahoma, at the age of 68.

Valeta was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Roberta Hicks, Barbara Mayberry, and Anna Redman. She was also reunited with her daughters, Melissa Duncan, and Melinda Duncan.

Valeta leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Holt, Janis Warren, Melva Henderson, Rhonda (Johnny) Watson, and Nina Duffy. Valeta's children, Harley Duncan III, Andrea Duncan, and Jessica Duncan, will forever hold her close in their hearts. She was also a beloved grandmother to Phoenix Duncan, Luna Duncan, and Quintun Duncan.

Throughout her life, Valeta had a passion for various hobbies, including reading, antiquing, shopping, and decorating for Christmas. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, and her warmth and love touched the lives of all who knew her.

Valeta Dawn Duncan's presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and peace she brought to others during her lifetime.
