Vanessa Ann Butler was born July 24, 1958 to Ira and Norma Jean Stanfield in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. Vanessa crossed the Jordan to be with her Lord and Savior on January 18, 2022 in Edmond Oklahoma at the age of 63. Vanessa had many joys in life from reading to cooking and watching movies. She loved her dog Taz that passed away just a few days before her. Vanessa enjoyed her strolls through WalMart and serving her community and her God through her church. Vanessa cherished here long talks she would have with her sisters, nothing was more important to her then spending time with her son and her family. Preceding her in death is her mother Norma Jean Stanfield, her husband Thomas Butler, and both paternal and maternal grandparents. Left behind to mourn her passing is her Father Ira Stanfield and Phylis of Wellston, her son Alvin Butler of Wellston, Sister Doris Clewis of Wellston, her brother Marcus and Rachel Stanfield of Wellston, and sister Tonya Clark of Edmond. Along with six nieces and nephews; Cedric Clewis of Spencer, James Clark of Edmond, Christopher Clewis of Wellston, Rochelle Clewis of Wellston, Toneesha Clark of Edmond, and Anthony and Zain Clewis of Oklahoma City. As well as one grand daughter Samantha Porter. Vanessas legacy will be remembered by a host of other family and friends.
