Vickie Lynn Brown, 71, of McLoud, Oklahoma, passed away on August 24, 2026, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loved ones.

Vickie was born on May 18, 1955, the daughter of Clydene Stanfield and Earnest Smith. She graduated from McLoud High School and later dedicated many years of hard work to data entry then retired from Tinker Air Force Base. On April 26, 1989, Vickie married the love of her life, William Brown, in a memorable Florida elopement.

Vickie was a woman of distinct passions. She loved sewing, watching old movies, and found great joy in her Temu shopping. Known for her fun-loving spirit, her self-proclaimed "only diet" consisted strictly of Dr Pepper and queso chips. Above all, Vickie will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her wonderfully strong and stubborn ways.

She is survived by her devoted husband, William Brown; her children, Shelly Mauldin of Noble, Oklahoma, and Mandy and Steven Hough of McLoud, Oklahoma; her six cherished grandchildren, Monica and James Owen of Bristow, Oklahoma, Alex and Kaleb Anderson of Noble, Oklahoma, Sara and Kodey Coon of Bristow, Oklahoma, Baylie Hough of McLoud, Oklahoma, Zoe Anderson of Newalla, Oklahoma, and Logan Hough of McLoud, Oklahoma; and her nine great-grandchildren, Persayus Owen, Ava Anderson, Jackson Coon, Corbyn Coon, Magnolia Anderson, Mia Coon, Bexley Anderson, Waylon Anderson, and Luna Coon.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Richard Smith and Carey Smith; and her oldest daughter, Monica Mauldin.
