The radiant light of Vickie Lynn Palomino was dimmed on Tuesday, May 12, 2016, when she passed away peacefully with her family by her side. 

Vickie was born on May 16, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Frank Richard and Rosey Lee Lena. She grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Eufaula Indian Boarding School. 

On October 7, 1983, she married Pagoberto Miramuntez Palomino. From this union, they were blessed with a son and a daughter. Together they made their home in McLoud, Oklahoma. Vickie began her career in child development at Kickapoo Head Start and later became a Master Teacher at CPN Child Development Center. She and Pagoberto also started a successful trucking company, which continues to be owned and operated by her husband. 

Together they built a life rooted in devotion, hard work, and perseverance. Beautiful inside and out, Vickie will be most remembered for her joyful spirit. Her kind heart extended warmth and compassion to all she encountered. She embraced each day with a free spirit and infectious enthusiasm. 

Vickie is survived by her beloved husband, Pagoberto Palomino; her son, Azahel Cheban Palomino; her daughter, Desireal Michelle Palomino; and her cherished grandchildren, Montez Antonio Dent, Myah Palomino, Amos Palomino, and Ellie Palomino. Forever, peacefully continue to walk in beauty.
