Waylin Fletcher Lewis entered this life on June 28, 1938 in Ashdown, Arkansas. Waylin entered into eternal rest on December 15, 2023 in the comfort of his home. Waylin's life was a tapestry of love, joy, and enduring strength.

Preceded in death by his parents and beloved siblings Patsy, Peggy, Paul, Annette, and Thomas, Waylin leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his devoted wife, Rene' Lewis, and their loving children: Rita Young, Sheila and Steve Chesser, Larry and Carla Lewis, and Kody Lewis.

Waylin's joyous spirit lives on through his grandchildren Tommy (and wife Courtney), Kesha, DJ (and wife Tiffany), and KJ, as well as his great-grandchildren Kaylen, Kyler, Abby, Emma, and Cruze, who brought him immeasurable happiness.

A man of many passions, Waylin found joy in the simplicity of life. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, treasuring the tranquility of nature. His love for music, singing, and dancing was infectious, bringing life and laughter to those around him. Above all, his greatest joy was the time spent surrounded by his family, sharing stories and creating memories that will be treasured forever.
