Wayne Wesley Davis, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, sibling, Army veteran, and valued member of the McLoud community, passed away on April 17, 2026, in McLoud, Oklahoma. Born on December 9, 1937, Wayne lived a life marked by dedication to family, service, and personal passions that touched all who knew him.

A proud Army veteran, Wayne served his country honorably, and his commitment to duty was just one facet of a rich and meaningful life. Those who were fortunate to know him remember his warmth and steadfast presence. He found joy in working diligently in his shop, meticulously caring for his airplane—a symbol of his adventurous spirit and skill. Equally cherished were the simple pleasures he embraced: sharing coffee and stories at the local café with friends and spending quality time with his family.

Wayne’s devotion to family was unwavering. He is lovingly survived by his two daughters, Becky Carpenter and Cynthia Boydston. Alongside Cynthia is James, who shared in the family’s lasting bond. His legacy continues through his six grandchildren: Crystal Clark, Angela Carpenter, Christopher Ferris, Michael Ferris, James A. Boydston, and Justin Boydston. The family circle extends further with seven great-grandchildren—Hayley, Gavin, Breianna, Jakob, Rylee, Jemma, and Jaxon—who brought immense joy to Wayne’s later years. Among his siblings, he is survived by Bro. Kenny Davis, who remains a cherished part of the family.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Hugh Davis and Louies Jorgenson, whose memories live on in the hearts of those who loved them.

Visitation will be held on April 26, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Brown's Family Funeral Home, located at 416 E Broadway, McLoud, OK 74851, providing an opportunity for friends and family to come together in remembrance. The funeral service will follow on April 27, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Emmaus Indian Baptist Church, 624 W Broadway Ave, McLoud, OK 74851, where Wayne’s life will be honored and celebrated.
