IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William David
Osborne
January 11, 1944 – October 18, 2025
William David Osborne, known to most as David and affectionately called "Super Dave" by those closest to him, passed away peacefully at his home in McLoud, Oklahoma, on October 18, 2025, at the age of 81.
David was born on January 11, 1944, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, and moved with his family to McLoud in 1956. He served proudly as a Medic in the United States Air Force for 2 years. In 1974, he married the love of his life, Carolyn Sue "Susie" Osborne, with whom he shared many wonderful years.
A hardworking and skilled carpenter, David built houses from the ground up and took great pride in his craftsmanship. He was a valued and respected member of the McLoud community, known for his reliability, dependability, and strong work ethic.
David had a passion for racing—whether watching NASCAR, motocross, or cheering on his children in their sporting events. Above all, he loved his family and friends deeply and showed his love through his actions every day.
David was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn Sue "Susie" Osborne; his parents, Elbert James Osborne and Laura Elizabeth Osborne; and his siblings, Charles and Lena Osborne, Earl and Vera Osborne, and Carol and Tommy Fitzgerald.
He is survived by his two children, Jeffrey Todd Osborne and his wife Amy Lynn Osborne of McLoud, Oklahoma, and Amy Jo Tiller and her husband David Tiller of McLoud, Oklahoma; his grandchildren Tyler Coy Osborne, William Braden Osborne, Anna Jo Tiller, Sara Elizabeth White, Derek Benton Tiller, and Samantha Tiller; and his granddaughter Lylie Sue Osborne; and his nieces and nephews.
David will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend—a man who was always there through good times and bad, whose strength and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
A viewing will be held at Brown's Funeral Home on November 1, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and a graveside memorial service will take place on November 8, 2025 at the McLoud Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
