Delight Dawn Sonntag

Delight Dawn Sonntag, better know as Dee, passed away peacefully on Dec 16 2021.

She is preceded in death by both her parents, and two brothers, Kenneth and Gene Honchnoff. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Randy Bullock. Her children Preston, Shelby, Chad, Chuck.

Four grandchildren; Lucas, Jacob, Fiona, and Camille. And one great grandchild Aubry Kerchee. As well as one sister Melody Kahlbaugh. Nieces and nephews; Grant, Lee, and Travis and Monica Kahlbaugh, Chelsea and Chad Ellis, Jason and Amber Honchroff and Alex Cadwell. Along with sister in law Ruth Honchroff. 

Delight grew up on a farm near Max, N.D. She graduated from Max High school in 1971 and received a BS degree in elementary education from University of North Dakota in 1975.

Dee loved to travel, and with a couple girl friends traveled around Europe after high school. She lived in Germany, California, Oklahoma and Texas before moving to Shawnee, Oklahoma Dec 12, 2021.

She was a second mother to numerous friends of her children and was a Cub Scout den mother in Altus Oklahoma. Always a kind, giving person who would put others before herself. She dearly loved all her children, grandchildren, family, friends and many friends whose life she touched as a military wife.

Besides traveling, she enjoyed gardening, antiques, reading and listening to 60s music.

Dee would be described as a good listener and showed genuine care for family, friends and people.She had a suprising wit and humor that could catch you off guard.

Delight will be sorely missed and she leaves us with a little more love in our hearts.
