Jonnee Louan Weiss or better known as Granmon entered this life on August 11, 1947 to Arlie and Katherine Maness in Denver, Colorado. Jonnee entered into eternal rest on August 14, 2022 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Jonnee wore many hats in her lifetime. Her favorite hat she wore was being Granmon to her four grandchildren. No matter what adventure her grandchildren had going on from rodeos, sports games, recitals, or just going shopping; Granmon was there. Another passion of Granmon’s was flowers. Granmon had a green thumb and could keep anything alive or bring it back to life. Every Mother’s Day the family knew that was flower day. Granmon loved to help others. She could make anyone feel as if they were part of her family and that they were loved. Granmon cherished life and made sure to create a special memory with each person she crossed paths with. As Granmon put it, “It was a fun journey, see you on the other side”.
Preceding Jonnee in death are her parents. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Paul. Her daughter Jill Bashorun and her son Joe and wife Jalinda Steele. Her four grandchildren, Jayden and her fiance' Cody, Joah, Jessi, and Alex. Her sister, Kathy and husband Larry and their children. Paul’s daughter Rosanna and her husband Lewis and son Alexander and Paul's son, Tom Weiss. Along with a host of many family and friends that loved Granmon dearly.
A special thanks to Tristan and her husband Jeff and Macey Rae and her fiance’ Nick and Jack Steele and his wife Jana for all the help taking care of Jonnee as well as Kathy Steele for the many Saturday mornings spent with Jonnee. The family would also like to thank Traditions Health Hospice for their loving care.
