Leslie Shannon Eschman passed away in her home on October 22 at the age of 53, following a sudden and undiagnosed illness. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on October 20, 1968 to Larry Eschman and Teri Williams Rainbolt.
Leslie was an avid lover of music, a rescuer of animals, and an unconditional friend, mother, sister, wife, and daughter. Leslie committed her life to pursuing a deeper spiritual understanding and spent much of her time in philosophical and theological conversation with friends. Those who truly knew Leslie will forever miss her laughter, her brilliant sense of humor, and her complete and total acceptance of every person she met.
Leslie is survived by both of her parents, her children Jacob Henry and Krysta Henry Holland, her sisters Amy Eschman True and Kelli Eschman, her brother Nathan Calder, her husband David Starkweather, her grandchildren Lennon and Arlo, and her beloved dogs Cosmo and Brownie, her cat Maiden, and all the other farm animals who looked to her for warmth and food.
She has traveled on, but her light remains.
