Mark Wendell Fleming

Mr. Mark Wendell Fleming was Born April 17th, 1959 in Oklahoma City to his Parents William Fleming and Bernice Davis, (Fleming) - Caldwell.

Mark grew up in Oklahoma City, as a small child the family moved to Chandler, Oklahoma, While in Chandler, the family United with Central Baptist Church. He later became a faithful member of  Saint John Missionary Baptist Church In Oklahoma City, where he received Christ as his personal savior.

Mark attended the Chandler Public school system and graduated with the class of 1977. While in grade school, middle school, and high school Mark participated in football. He won several trophies in punt, pass, and kick competitions. Mark graduated from Okmulgee Technical College with a degree in Culinary Arts. After graduation he worked in several Hotels in the Oklahoma City area as a cook and chef.

In the early eighties Mark moved to Dallas, TX where he continued using his expertise in cooking. He especially enjoyed working at the prestigious Crescent Club owned by the Hunt Family. Mark was also employed by Brinker International Company, while there he earned the title of certified trainer. This opportunity afforded him to travel around the United States opening new restaurants and training personnel in restaurant operations.

Mark loved to travel, he decided to settle down in Dallas TX., where he lived for 24 years. With the exception of living in Phoenix, AZ for 2 years. While living in Dallas, Mark joined Concord Church,

In 2007 Marked moved back to Chandler, OK, to spend more time with his family. He commuted to Shawnee, OK, and worked at The Macaroni Grill Restaurant. After the death of his mother, Mark moved back to Oklahoma City where he United with Followers of Christ Baptist Church.

In 2013 Mark’s health began to decline. He continued to keep an optimistic attitude. Mark loved watching baseball and football, the Dallas Cowboys was his favorite team.

Mark always kept his faith in God.

His sunset was on Saturday, August the 12th, 2023. He shall wear a Crown.

He leaves to cherish; sister Sandra Johnson, Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City, and Marisa Fleming ( no relation close friend ). As well as other relatives and friends.
