Michael “Lance” Moore passed away Sunday June 25th 2023 at the age of 43 in Harrah Oklahoma. Lance was born on September 24, 1979 in Dallas Texas to Bill and Cindi Moore. Lance had a love for sports and was affectionately called the Freight Train from the age of 5. He loved Football and baseball and was a part of the Seminole High School Football State Championship team in 1996. He loved animals and was a well of useless information. He was also a tinkerer. He could take anything apart and put back together with only a few leftover parts. The miracle being they continued to work. He loved cooking and was always putting together interesting combinations of food that were incredibly tasty.
However, his lasting contribution will always be his kindness to everyone. He was known to offer complete strangers help with carrying and loading groceries, rushing to the aid of any child that injured themselves, and always trying to keep those around him in a laughing mood. Lance only wanted for those around him to be happy. He loved to tell you, “I love you to the moon and back.” Thank goodness he wasn’t an astronaut.
He is survived by his mother Cindi Moore of Harrah Ok. His father and stepmom Bill Moore and Heidi Moore, and brother Isaac Benson. His older brother and family Jeremy and Michelle Moore, Alek, Garett Moore, and Helen Moore. Older sister Tiffany Moore. Younger sister and family, Alicia and Jeff Stevens, Dominic Stevens, and his daughters Harley and Ryleigh Stevens. And his stepson Lucas Wade of Shawnee OK. His grandparents Grandma Dee and Papaw Don of Mesquite Texas. Numerous Aunts and Uncles and a plethora of cousins. And a whole slew of new family at NA.
