Russell Carl Cobb III

Russell Carl Cobb was born October 10, 1981 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Russell Carl Cobb, Jr. and Jean Marie Windham. Russell passed away June 26, 2023 at his home in McLoud, Oklahoma after fighting an illness. 

Russell graduated from Bethel High School in 2000. Russell served a brief term in the United States Army and later became an ASE certified mechanic. 

Cars were his passion. He bought an old 1988 Honda Prelude to fix up and his dream was to get it on the road. It was banana yellow and he was proud of it. 

Russell was also an avid concert-goer. He had seen his favorite band, Third Eye Blind, seventeen times. He was absolutely their biggest fan. 

Later, Russell became a father with the birth of his first son, Gavin in 2003. Soon after, he welcomed his second son, Russell Cobb IV, in 2004. He met the love of his life, Megan Sallaska and they married in 2016. In 2011, he became the proud father of his little squishy, Aubrey Beth. 

Russell's sense of humor was huge, but his heart was even bigger. He loved his family and friends and always had a soft spot for his dogs, Lady, Jack, and Marley, and any stray cat that he found. He will be missed so much by everyone that knew him and loved him. 

Russell was preceded in death by his father, Russell Carl Cobb Jr, his birth mother, Jean Marie Windham, his grandmothers, Mary Jane Booth and Joyce Grant and grandfather, Russell Carl Cobb Sr. and Earl Morgan. 

Russell is survived by his wife Megan Cobb, his sons Gavin Cobb and R.C. Cobb, his daughter Aubrey Beth Cobb. His mother, Kathy Ann Cobb, and his grandmother Lee Morgan. His four brothers, Joshua Graham and wife Sarah, James Graham and wife Elizabeth, Jacob Cobb and wife Ashely, and Jesse Cobb and wife Jenny, and one awesome sister, Laura Strong and husband Kris. Numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts uncles, and friends.
