William Barry Booker was born to Guy D. Booker, Jr and Alice Kathleen (McMillan) Booker on July 22, 1947 in Greenville, Alabama. He and his family made their home in Burnt Corn, Alabama and later in Monroeville, Alabama. Barry graduated from Monroe County High School in 1965, and also attended 1 year at Patrick Henry Junior College. On April 15, 1979, Barry married Sharon K. (Pool) Clement, and became Pops to her son, Jerry D. Clement. Throughout his working life, Barry worked at Vanity Fair Mills in Monroeville H. J. Jeffries Truck Line in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma beginning as a Bookkeeper and advancing to dispatcher/terminal manager. He also traveled the country as a construction worker, and owned and operated a Bowling Pro Shop in Norman, Oklahoma. The past 17 years, Barry and Sharon made their home in Maud, Oklahoma and had just recently moved to their dream home in Eufaula, Oklahoma.
Barry is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Guy D. Booker, Sr. and Vida Lillian (Dawson) Booker, maternal grandparents Houston (Hugh) McMillan and Arza Coral (Hightower) McMillan. His parents and younger brother Guy D. Booker III.
Barry is survived by his wife Sharon, of the home, son Jerry D. Clement of Noble, Ok, younger sister Barbara K. Sisk, of Prattville, Alabama, sister-in-law, JoCarol Booker of Burnt Corn, Alabama, sister-in-law, Sue Lowe Andersen of Andover, Ohio, and sister-in-law Vadair Holder of Maud, Oklahoma. Two granddaughters, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, and last but not least his three furbabies, Rusty, Jeffie, and Ellie.
